Can't open CC library in XD. Help!

Hi, I can't open CC libraries in XD. I can see my library in photoshop/illustrator etc but I can not add anything to the library as it says I have view only ability- even though I created the library.

When I launch XD it states there is an error with CC libraries and the option to open libraries is simply not there. Anyone else had this issue? I've tried reinstalling XD, siging in and out of the Creative Cloud and these links : https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html.
