Can't see pins in design review mode

Hello, 

Some of my developers are unable to see pin location on Adobe XD screens while in design review mode. However, other developers can see them on the same file. I have confirmed with the ones who cannot see them that they are on the design review tab (not specs) and are in the split panel (not full screen). They can see the annotations on the right-hand side of the screen, but not where the accompanying pin is on the mock up.

Is there some sort of sharing setting that would affect this? Thanks!
