Can't Use fonts from Universal Type Client

My company uses Universal Type Client to manage fonts. It seems that none of the fonts I have installed through the program are available in XD. We're currently using an older version of the program (5.2.3.638387).

Only manual activation of fonts will work for Adobe XD.

Auto-activation plug-ins are available for: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and InCopy.

If you are having issues with manual activation and are on a supported version of the Universal Type Server, please contact our Support Team here:

Thanks Jeff. Do current versions of Universal Type Server support manual font activation, or rather, ways to use those fonts within XD?

Yes. All versions of Universal Type Client can manually activate fonts for use in any products including Adobe XD. Simply activate the font in the Universal Type Client application and select it from the drop-down menu in your application.

This activation is globally through the operating system in both Windows and macOS.
