Can we get Dark Mode in XD?

This post is just a bump for the idea made in 2016 of a dark mode for XD.

As the best way to use XD at night right now is to have the screen dimmed to the point I might as well turn the monitor off.

Anyone from Adobe that wants to answer to this, only answer with "its not in backlog now, and it is in current development and will post its progress"

No bull crap answers and make it happen it's not hard.

Trying to bully the dev team into making something a priority won't help. I think the numerous threads and the thousands of votes on uservoice are enough proof of that 🙂

Me and other professionals have been raising these issues with them every chance we get. They have their own agenda, partially influenced by user's requests, but not entirely, unfortunately. Hopefully now that their biggest competitor has implemented this and other features we've been asking about for years, it will shift their attention in that direction.

I don't use figma - I use - Adobe XD. Adobe XD has to have a 'dark interface' the user experience is so hard on my eyes. I have to work in photoshop with the 'dark theme' in appearances - rather than using what I would like to use, which is Adobe XD. Dark Mode is a 'user interface standards' issue. With out a 'dark mode' forr Adobe XD has no standards. A standard 'Dark Mode' theme for any and all applications including Adobe XD is the number one issue for eye burnout.

When is this going to be done?

Kind regard,

TT

Never!

XD is now in "Maintenance mode", in other words, its the end-of-life for XD since Adobe is trying to buy Figma.

See https://helpx.adobe.com/support/xd.html

They've hit problems over buying it though, so that leaves us XD users in limbo.

They wont support new features anymore other than critical updates until they discontinue it for good.

That's customer loyalty for you, but not the first nor will be the last time.

Sorry you're getting bullied and we know it's not your fault, but this is absolute proof that Adobe is asleep at the wheel. The feature request has thousands of upvotes going back for years. How in the world is that not priority for the company? I started using Figma until Adobe bought them out, but my eyes have been peeled for alternatives to get out of this bohemeth company's ecosystem of products.
