Can you make a field the user can type in when creating an App?

Hiya, so I am totally new to Adobe XD. I have done the layout for my very first App and I have connected all the links etc, but my client wants their users to be able to click on a field and type in their own text. Is that possible and if so, how do I do it?

Sorry, but that is not currently possible.

But what about the fields when you either log in or add your address or something like that. How do they work and can't I use one of those?
