Cannot change letter spacing to negative values (version 56..1.12.1)

As of this current version I noticed that I cannot change letter spacing to negative values within the text element's properties panel. Could you please fix/implement this, thank you.

      It's the same version on macOS - so the functionality is there. Reinstall and restart?
