Cannot create new documents; no error message

Well, at least you an error message.

I get... nothing. Nothing happens when I click any of the sizes when creating a new document. Opening existing files works just fine... but I can't create anything new.

Pretty sad when I install Xd on a Macbook and creating a new project fails!? Now I'm already uninstalling Xd and finding something that will work out of box.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. If you happen to want to try out XD again, it's likely some of your core components not installing correctly through Creative Cloud. There's a workaround here: Issue saving xd files to creative cloud

I had the same error on OS X, I had the CC app blocked through firewall and the latest version of XD wants to automatically save your documents to Adobe's Cloud. When I allowed CC Desktop to access the net, the error went away. I assume if XD can't save to cloud by default it freaks out.

Thanks
Just not sure how to go about it as I'm an on an enterprise network where I have no control of the firewall (unless it's a firewall setting on my Mac)
But I believe I tried this at home with the same result...

Sorry to hear you're hitting this issue! It's not related to the error 50 thing, so I'm branching off into a new discussion. Can you check your Creative Cloud Sync version? I'd also love to get the team to grab some logs from you so that we can tell what's going on. To get the CC Sync version, you should go to your Creative Cloud desktop application, select the ... from the corner, then select Preferences > Creative Cloud > Files.

Also, someone else reported that they were able to get new documents to work if you open a local document, Save As a cloud document, and then return to the homescreen. Can you verify if that works or not?

Same problem.  I've already tried to reinstall without any luck.

Any update?
