Cannot install plugins to latest version of XD

I am updated to the latest version of XD and get an alert telling me to "Install and relaunch the latest version of Adobe XD in order to install XD plugins".

 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling XD, updating the CC application, logging in and out of my account and still get this alert.

 

Trying to install plugins from witin the XD plugin manager gives a 'failed to install' alert.

The CC Desktop marketplace has a greyed out alert triangle that says to install the latest version.

 

I have also checked that nothing is running in compatability mode. I'm on Windows 10.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. The current version of XD is 56.1, so please ensure you have the latest version of XD. You can also try the suggestions shared here and let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks Rishabh, I have the latest version of XD installed (56.1.12).

SOmehow Creative cloud is not registering that I have the required version installed even though I have the most up to date version.
