Change masked image from clipboard

Hi guys,

If i have a masked image, and i want to replace that image i can browse or drag/drop a new images on to it to change it.
But sometimes i just screenshot (TO CLIPBOARD) something from a website and i want to use that clipboard to replace the image. How do i achieve that?

Logic would be to double click to select masked image and CTRL+V but that doesnt work.

Help would be much appreciated ❤️
