Character-style not applying

Question

Hello, since the last update, XD is not applying character styles anymore to text elements. I have a body text added to character styles, when I check highlight on canvas it hightlights the original text block, but when I try to apply that to a diffeernt text block, it doesn't change the text. Any help, please? That is significantly slowing down the work flow.

Hi Cethan, thank you very much for your reply. I am running version 36.1.32.5

It's the first file where I am running into this problem and now, after deleting and re-creating the character styles multiple times, it seems to work, so I cannot record the screen right now. But when I was searching for a solution, I saw that a lot of people were complaining about that issue in the forum... It's just very time comsuming to delete and re-create all the character-styles. I really hope this was a one time whatever bug.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you're having trouble in applying character style. Could you please share a few more details like:

The version of XD.
Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
Also Is it possible to share a video of the workflow so it will be useful to reproduce the issue from our end.
Tried to reproduce the issue from our end on latest XD version-36.1.32.5, but couldn't able to reproduce it, so please share the above mentioned details.
