Child components keep resetting

Question

Hi everyone, I recently moved from Figma and I'm having huge trouble using linked components libraries.

Whenever I adjust something on the master component and update it in my file it resets the component to its original state which is a pain in the ass. For example, if I have a rounded button and change the radius or change its state it will delete the label I've overwritten.

Is there a way to avoid this???

Hello there,Thankyou for reporting the issue. Once linked component is overrided, changes on main will be no more effective depending on layout or structure override.If any label is composite of layers, then a particular change on layer (overrided) could still update to the changes of main. You can try this scenario with less number of elements, to understand how main component affects overrided linked component.
