Client unable to comment on Share Link

Hello

My client informed me that he used the pencil icon to add some markups on his proof then he input some comments. He hit the Submit button and the attached was the error he received. He says he left and came back a couple hours later and tried again and the same thing happened. I haven't had this happen to any other clients. Anyone else?

Maybe it's some outage that's specifically happening for them. Have they tried a different browser, incognito mode?

Is the file invitation only, or can anyone with the link access it?

I thought for sure it was just an internet issue like you said but the fact that he came back hours later and it still didn't work is strange. It was "anyone with the link can access".

It can be many things. Sometimes the browser or some extension doesn't like some module / connection and blocks it. For example, Mozilla implemented some extra restrictions recently and some websites have been malfunctioning for me when using Firefox, so I had to access them through Chrome. Ask them to try a different browser.

It could be some server issue but the connection for different users goes through different routes. There might be ways to diagnose it, but I don't know if your client will be willing to bother with it all.

You can try generating a new link, from the same file or from a duplicate, and see what happens.
