Collaboration issues:- Unable to update XD to 38.1 version

Hello,

I am a student at the moment, and our current project is a group effort. My groupmates and I are trying to collaborate on an XD document, however when we all get on it says that one or two of us are using an outdated version of XD and are therefore unable to edit the document. We have all checked our accounts and they say that all of our versions of XD are up-to-date. None of us is able to update the app. Myself and one other person are working on windows, the third individual is working on a Mac. I'm working on version 38.0.12, while the other person working on windows says he's working on 38.1.12. We have no idea how to fix the situation, please help!
