Content aware padding

Question

Just a quick question on padding. I'm sure this was behaving as I would expect before, but I am just trying to add some padding to a button a component, but it looks like it is adding a margin outside the button, rather than padding within it. Have attached a screenshot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

Nope - wasn't that either. Its very strange - I'm trying to work backwards with the buttons I have, but can't see why its not working on them but is working if I create a new one.

I would suggest selecting the component from the layer panel and then try to apply the padding and see if that helps. As sometimes the right object is not selected which might cause the problem.

Thank you for reaching out. Padding is actually the distance from the visual background to the edge of the content on each side identified by a stretched background.
