Copy artbaords without assets

How do I copy artboards from one open XD document to another without having the assets included? The latter only creates huge issues cause I'm not able to delete the components from the new documents at all. They are there with no delete option. Can't delete single assets or multiple assets. I'm stuck with them sitting there. This has been an ongoing issue for years now. All I wanna do is to copy arboards with the design but NOT get the assets included at all in the new document. No colors, no componants, no character styles etc. This is something I'm in need to do all the time when making the transition from a lofi to hifi iterasjon. I just wanna start from scratch on the layout and create new assets from there in a seperate document cause its going to be shared seperatly as well. In other words: PLEASE make this possible.

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. As of now, we don't have an option to just copy the artboard without the assets in the Artboard. Having said that, you can always share your feedback and suggestion here: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

I'd also like to confirm that I am able to delete the assets from the Artboards after copying and pasting it to a new document and I am using XD 30.2.12.3 on Windows 10 version 2004 build 19041. You can try to select all and then delete the assets on the artboard and after doing that you might see the assets name on the asset panel and you can delete it from there as well.

Let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.

    Regards

    Rishabh

Do we really have to create upvotes for every single obvious thing? Does the car need wheels? My described issue is a program error, it's obviously not working in a very practical way. Does every error need to be upvoted to be fixed? I hope not but it seems like that cause each time there's something not working as it should in XD we are asked to upvote that to be fixed, like its a special feature or something.
