Copy to clipboard to paste and autoscale to artboard

Copy to clipboard outside of the Adobe XD and then like to paste that copied selection stored in the clipboard to an artboard in XD and have it paste to fit in the artboard without the user having to scale manually.  Any suggestions on how to accheive?

Having some sort of fitting options in XD would be nice, but there are none... and I didn't see any plugins to do it either. You can visit https://adobexd.uservoice.com to see if someone has created a feature request for this (and upvote it). If not, please create a feature request.
