Create prototype interaction on same artboard

Hi there, is it possible to create interactions on just one artboard? I am designing a single page website, and wish to link items from the menu, to anchors at another position further down the same artboard.

No you need at least two artboards to create a prototype transition. You could possibly achieve the effect you're after by using an overlay off each menu item. So it will appear that there is a single page, but your file will require multiple artboards to create the overlays.
