CTRL+C in XD copies directly to Snagit

In Adobe XD, when I select anything (component, interaction, etc.), and use the CTRL+C keyboard shortcut OR select Edit > Copy, SnagIt opens and the object is copied directly to SnagIt as an image. However it is NOT copied into the clipboard and useing CTRL+V does not paste.
This is driving me nuts. Is this a setting somewhere, or how do I fix this? Thanks!

This is really a SnagIt issue not XD, so I'd suggest you should post on their forum. https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/community/topics (go into the Q & A section for Windows or Mac based on what you're using).

That said, I use SnagIt on my Mac with no issues with XD. I think you're on Windows, so maybe there's something different there.

Thanks for this. I have posted to SnagIt, will see what comes back.

Thank you, it was indeed an option in SnagIt ("open screenshots from system tools") that must have somehow become enabled during an update or something since this wasn't happening, and then it was. Thanks again.

Not sure what SnagIt is, seems to be some third party software for screen captures. Maybe you can change its default shortcut to something else or disable it completely. Not sure why Xd interacts with it in this way, but you can't change shortcuts in Xd and the preferences are pretty limited, so you'll have to deal with it outside of Xd.

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I use SnagIt frequetly so I cannot disable it, and the shortcut is PrtScr, not CTRL+C. I did go through all the SnagIt shortcuts and can't see any reason it's grabbing from XD. I can use CTRL+C in all other programs without this weird behavior of going to SnagIt. Very weird. Thanks again for your reply and thoughts on attempting to fix this.
