[Design] - fix elements while scrolling

In adobe XD Prototype, a trigger is missing to activate or fix elements while scrolling the page.
For example: a banner in the right column scrolls to a certain height then stops.
To make a clearer example I am attaching a video

You could do several things with a scroll trigger, another example: simple to activate popup overlays, etc.

Do you know if it is already possible to do so?

You're clearly in the need of more sophisticated scrolling effects...

Adobe XD doesn't offer such refined features at this moment, but you could mimic the scroll behavior by setting up some Auto-animations to show the effect, in stead of letting testers truly interact with it.

    Thank you for your answer.
However, it doesn't seem like a very complicated thing to implement.
Just add a scroll trigger and it could have the current Overlay functionality but with the "from here to here" option

Anyway thanks for confirming that there is no such option, I was about to go crazy seemed obvious.

Glad to have cleared that up 🙂

I can imagine your request seems quite simple, but in that same manner there are dozens of variations to think of: scroll and slide in, and out, from which begin and to which end position, with opacity changing as well, at scrolling speed or time-based, with an extra easing effect, how long static in between, remain after scrolling back, and eventually some one will always ask "and how about 3D ?"

Transitions and animations are a delicate discipline, with lots of features and tweaks. I wish XD would enhance in that direction a lot, too ! Because that's just as big a part of the whole design and experience, as colors, a consistent layout, and typography are.
