[Design]- I cannot rename a group in XD

Hello,

For some time now, I cannot rename groupe of elements in XD.

When I start from a blank page it works fine. But when I re-open the project, it will not let me rename the group.

The only work around is to copy this group in a new blank page. Rename it there and copy it back in my project.

This is a big nuisance....

Has anyone else found a solution ?

Hi Blaise,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I tried the same on my end and was able to rename the group successfully, please find attached Giphy. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

 

  1. The version of XD.
  2. Does this happen with a specific file or multiple files?
  3. Is it happening with documents saved locally or cloud or both?
  4. Will it be possible for you to share a sample file if it is not confidential? If yes, please click on my name and then click on send a message to send the file through DM.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    My version of XD is 

     

    Running on Windows 10 :

     

    I have just made a test and this happens both online and localy. And on multiple files.

     

    I will send you an exemple in DM like indicated.
