[Design]-No Preferences in XD.

Why are there no Preferences like other Adobe Applications ... Customize/Create Keyboard Shortcuts?

Togehter with Adobe Dimension, Adobe XD is from a 'new breed' of applications, rooting in a new paradigm for interfaces at Adobe. After 30+ years, Adobe is steering away from all these pinned down panels to just a few, like Assets, and the dynamic Inspector panel. No more tabbed document windows, and on Windows, the menu bar has even gone. Other old-school approaches like tons of tools and Preferences are also brought down to a bare minimum.

Oh well, at least they dare to try something new...

What kind of Preferences, other than just the Language setting under the Help menu, are you looking for ?

Preferences our company would like to see:

Set default Open workflow to Cloud Documents (not Recent, which is managed through the menu)
Set default animation type, Interaction menu (e.g. Always Push Left at 0.02 s)
Set default document asset type (e.g. Android Mobile, not iPhone as default)
Ability to hide devices we won't develop for, and move Google to the top of the list (not Apple as default)
Ability to set default dictionaries for each market (US, Canada, UK, etc.)

Also, the ability to add the .XD (or XDC) filename extension to all files by default for proper cloud backup other than Adobe Cloud (as you can probably see, we're a Google-based business).
