Design Specs - URL

It's a very good thing that I'm able to provide developers with the URL to my Design Spec page without them having to have an Adobe ID, but one of the developers were asking me how secure that is. In theory that address is open for all to see, right? Cause I never had to invite the developer as a collaborator or anything, I'm just sending the link directly to the Design Specs page via copy and paste.

    This feature has been introduced in the latest version of Adobe XD. This info is for other users that may be visiting this thread in the future.

    Publish your prototype and/or design spec and share it with stakeholders by providing a web link.

    Hi perrybrus,

    I hear you. The team is working towards a more secure way of sharing files. However, in my opinion, the chances of the file falling into wrong hands without your control is pretty limited as long as you are sharing with trusted sources.

    The team visits the forum regularly, and I am open to correction if I have misstated something.

    There's alot o corporate secrecy in terms of app projects and development, having hundreds of screens available on an open url kinda makes it feel a bit fragile. When there's so much focus on data security in all other parts of the company people in the organization starts asking if using Design Specs is the best choice security wise.

    I think its very nice to avoid the Adobe ID requirement as that only decreases the goodwill from non Adobe users and programmers in general, but why not do like InVision and introduce the option to invite a second part as collaborator to the project? That why I as an account holder could administrate this myself.
