Desktop Preview responds to another XD window

If I starts preview on an old XD document and I click on a new version the preview changes to the new version. Either its a bug or a limitation.

    Hi there,

     

    Thanks for reaching out and sharing the feedback. This is expected behaviour. If we select any other file while the previewer window still open, then the selected file will be previewed on the previewer. Having said that, I agree with you there could be a scope of improvement in such workflows so will share your feedback with the Engineering team.
