Enabling Beta Co-Editing Forces New Link to Document

Hi all,

I'll be grateful for any insights on this issue, so thanks in advance for any feedback....

Background

  • My XD file was widely shared with stakeholders in my company. 
  • Today I enabled Beta co-editing to experiment with that feature with a teammate. 

 

Problem Encountered

  • The existing URL seems to be gone
  • This forces a new URL to be created
  • This is a problem as the document is already shared with a large audience.

 

Question

Is there a way to use an existing URL for the newly co-editing-enabled state of the XD file?

Hi Jonathan,

 

Sorry to hear you are having trouble using coediting feature in XD. I am unable to reproduce the same at my end on my windows machine may be I missed something. Would you mind telling is if it's a development or design review link? What is the OS and XD version of your machine? Is it possible for you to share a video where the link just disappears?
