Entire project wiped out while working on a could document

Question

Hello,

My colleague and I were working on a project for two days and today which is the third day and we were on some last few designs and suddenly the entire project wiped out! Soon after we both did Command+Z a thousand times, but the result was disappointment. There were 18 art boards with all the prototypes and everything, now all we have left with is 18 blank art boards.

How could this have happened? Is there anyway of recovering any files? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi Sooraj,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please check if you are able to find the file at below locations:

Win: \Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Adobe.CC.XD_adky2gkssdxte\LocalState

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe XD/CloudToLocalMRUCache

These are temp location for auto-save. The name of the file could be different so the best way of looking for the file would be by time stamp.
