Error code:86 There was an error opening this file

I have a  file that cant be open due to unproper shot down of my pc, I currently have a .xd file and .tmp file, is there any possibility that I can retrieve this file ?

    Sorry, I just resolved this issue by simply change the file name .tmp to .xd, and it's done.
