Error exporting from XD to OneDrive folder to overwrite previously exported jpg

Is there a fix for this? I sometimes even have to delete the file I need to overwrite. That works sometimes, and doesn't other times. I then have to close out of Xd and try again, sometimes multiple times (like today).

We are sorry for the delay in response. We would like to know if you're trying to replace the file with the exisiting file. Have you tried renaming the artboard name and then tried exporting?

Please also share the version of XD and the Operating system you're working on.

Hi Harshika,

This happens intermittently when I attempt to export and overwrite an existing file. I have not tried renaming the artboard name, since I work off of a standard naming convention, but I'll try that the next time this occurs. It sometimes allows me to export to a different folder, but other times it won't even allow me to do that and I have to close out of the app and restart (sometimes multiple times).

I'm on Windows 10 and Xd 45.1.62.3, though this has occured for years.

Thanks for sharing the information. Please record a video whenever it happens next and share with us and also try renaming the artboard and see if that helps.
