Error sharing File with Co-Editor

Hello, I have several documents I need to share with a co-worker, however, when I enter their name, it highlights their name with a red border. All of my other co-workers do not have this red border around their names when I share the document with them. The email is spelled correctly as well, and I also was able to share a document with them a month ago without this problem happening.

Any suggestions?
