Export selected artboard not working

In XD I have selected an artboard. I select File > Export > Selected and choose to save as a PNG. I have used this previously dozens of times. As of yesterday, this has stopped working. I now get a modal stating There was a problem exporting your asset that provides a link to this community area. I have found several posts dating back a few years on this topic but none of them have a resolution.

I am using Adobe XD v57.1.12.2 x64 on a Mac (Sonoma 14.4.1)

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I tested this workflow and it's working fine on my end. I am using the latest version of XD & macOS Sonoma. Can you confirm if you're exporting the file locally or any network or shared drive? Please test this on a new document and try exporting it to the desktop and see if that works?

I have tested this on multiple XD files and get the same error on all of them. I am trying to save the export to my local downloads file, not a network or shared drive.

Thank you for confirming. Can you check if XD has full disc access. To check that you go to Apple Menu > System Settings > Security & Privacy > Full Disc Access. Please ensure that XD has full disc access. I'd also recommend exporting to a different location on your mac and see if that resolves the issue.
