Eye dropper bug

I’m using an assistive device called switch control and every time I use the eye dropper tool form the inspector window to pick a fill color—it gives me dark blue every time.

    Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the suggestions shared in this similar discussion, and in case this doesn't help, please confirm the version of XD & macOS. Is this happening with a specific file or multiple files?

    That doesn’t help. I’m using version 56.1.12.1 of Xd and macOS Monterey 12.6.3. It’s happening with every file.
