Feature-in-the-backlog

In Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs I am seeing a notation that says "feature-in-the-backlog".  However, I'm not seeing any explanation as to what that really means; does it mean Adobe has taken the suggestion seriously and is going to build on it?  Does it mean that it is already in the works?

And if yes, to either of those possibilities, when would we know when/if that feature actually made it to a currant release?

In the example below, it appears that the feature "Tap/Hover Effect" is tagged as a "Feature-in-the-backlog" as of July 11, 2016. That is a while ago now.  What is the currant status? Is there any way to know?

Feature in the backlog generally means that we're planning to work on it. You can think of it like a to-do list, and feature in the backlog means that it's still to do.

Hope that helps!
