Feature Request: Adjusting the preview window to the size of the artboard to avoid black background

Hi there,

Mac10.15.3, macbook, not connected to an extra screen; XD28.5.12.5

- Created a design on a desktop, iPad, and mobile viewport

- Selected the desktop artboard

- Selected Preview, top right button under Prototype

- With the Preview window still open

- Click on the iPad or Mobile artboard

- Result: black bars between the design layout/artboard

- Expected? Not to have the black bars/artboard to bleed all around the Preview window?

Gif attached.

Thank you and let me know if questions.

Best,

C

Hi Clara,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the feedback. This happens because of the different size artboards. We have received a similar request on Adobe XD UserVoice, I'd request you to please upvote this request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/34277722-adjust-the-preview-window-to-the-size-of-the-artbo

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
