Feature Request for adding functionality in repeat grid in XD.

Hi Adam,

We are sorry for the delay in response and sorry for the bad experience with XD.

1. You cant define cols/rows in repeat grid and instead have to adjust the annoying borders of the grid is this the case? We would request you to please see this page: https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2016/11/17/exploring-repeat-grid-in-adobe-xd.html#gs.8tb9th which might help you. If no, then please submit your feedback on our XD UserVoice page

 

2. There is no snap for the border of the repeating grid so you cant even snap it to a element- If  I heard you correctly, this is the functionality you're looking for: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/13008000-repeat-grid-size-snap-to-whole-items-grid-cells If so, then please upvote the request.

 

3. You cant add elements into a repeating grid after it has been created - but you can copy and paste one of the elements inside to create a extra element - WHY?-Please refer to "Adding content to the repeat grid " section on this page: https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2016/11/17/exploring-repeat-grid-in-adobe-xd.html#gs.8tb9th

 

4. You cant change the order of elements in a repeating grid-A similar request has been raised here: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/14883744-reorder-your-repeat-grid please upvote the request.

 

4. The font size and scaling of text are seperate properties so instead of scaling down the font size when you scale down the parent you instead just scale the whole text down.
