Feature Request for Linking assets from local files

Hi there, 

 

I'm trying to link a local file into Assets, but I can't find how. I'm only seeing this options:

 

 

The way I'm doing it is clicking on "link assets" button:

 

My specs:

OSX v10.15.4 (19E287)

XD 

 

 

Can you help me please?

Thanks for reaching out. I am afraid, as of now, assets can be linked only from a cloud a document. For more information you can refer to this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/linked-assets.html

 

We have received similar request on our Adobe XD UserVoice page and I'd request if you can upvote this request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/37698904-link-assets-from-local-documents

 

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
