Feature Request for nested hovers

Question

Hi there
 
I was wondering if someone might be able to help, I'm trying to create a componenet within a componenet but for some reason the second componenet isn't working. Am I doing something wrong?For example:
 
I have a card that when the user hovers over, a settings cog appears (first componenet) and when the user hovers over the settings cog a drop down menu displays (second componenet). However when I hover over the second componenet it doesn't activate. Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks for reaching out. As suggested by Dstoic, we don't have an option for Nested Hovers as of now, so I'd request you to please upvote this UserVoice request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/38968075-hover-inside-hover-nested-hovers

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

Unfortunately, it just doesn't work. You can have only 1 level of hovers. If you put a component with a hover state in another's hover state, it doesn't activate. There isn't a way to do it currently, and we might or might not see it in the near future as an update.
