Feedback for constant updates for Adobe XD

Hi, I wanted to ask why almost everyday or every 2/3 days there's an update for Adobe XD, it's constantly annoying since I have to close everything that I am working on to update it. Is there a way to have an update once a week only?

Appreciated

Thanks

Hi Claudia,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I understand frequent updates at times could be frustrating. We are committed to enhancing the performance that's why we keep pushing updates regularly. Having said that, I'll share your feedback with the Engineering team. You can also opt for Auto-Update in the Creative Cloud Desktop App, if there is no active session of Adobe XD, the desktop app will automatically update it for you. The advice given by Rishabh_Tiwari is out of date or simply doesn't work. I get forced updates every day for at least the past two weeks. Going onto the dashboard offers no way to turn Auto-Updates off. The instructions given in the link provided are out of date.

Adobe XD forces update each time opening the files created with newer XD version. It's so annoying and unnacceptable! Each time have to close all projects in order to update Creative Cloud Desktop and XD.

Working files does not have to be linked to XD version!

Adobe XD became such an annoying crappy NAGWARE. It's getting worse each year.

All those forced updates are really driving me and my team insane. Our customers are also frustrated and seriously considering switching to the competition. It's a shame really, apart from that we really enjoyed using XD.

Kind regards, Chris

@Rishabh_Tiwari  Yes please. It's becoming ridiculous and nearly impossible to work with my team when each of us has multiple computers and we all collaborate on one project. They keep saving as 'Local Updates' when we aren't fully updated (like if an update is released during the workday) and then we lose the connectivity that originally made us choose Adobe. I've already been asked by several of my collegues if we can switch to Figma because of this problem alone.

Please fix.

It's so annoying if you are working on multiple computers and you constantly have to update the software at the worst possible times. i once made my layout on my desktop computer and took my laptop to the client and had to first update it with a bad internet connection, lost 30min just because of those annoying update. @adobe please change this!
