fixed position within component?

I have a list and from that list I want to be able to select an item an disply the content of that item in te right. I've used components and created a selected state with the content.

The list is scrollable, now I have the issue that the maker scrolls allong with the list, I can't fix the position of the marker. I could create a new artboard when the item is selected, but that would mean that the list will "scroll" back to the top, since it's a new artboard it displays the list as it is there, it doesn't "remember" how much I've scrolled. Does anyone have a solution for me?
