font issue between mac and windows platforms

Hello,

I am working with iMac Sierra 10.13.6 and my colleague is working with a Windows 10 OS; when I save my work and exit on Mac, then my friend opens the same file on Windows; but then all the font strokes gets lighter.

For example.

If I adjusted all the title as: Arial xBold on Mac

Then he sees all the titles still Arial xBold on the typography panel but the output is not xBold. It seems Arial Regular.

Same thing happens when I open his files.

Any suggestion?

    What's the nature of the font that you have used? (System Font, Typekit font...) If you are using a system font, where are the font files located on your computer?

    Would it be possible to post screenshots here so that we can better understand the issue?
