Fonts missing on windows but not on mac

Question

So as the title says, now and then when i start a new design in Adobe XD and use any font on my Macbook Pro, everything is working flawlessly.

Later when i switch to my PC desktop workstation where i run Windows 10 and want to continue in the same project (opened from the cloud) it sometimes says "Missing Fonts" and I've tried everything to solve this matter but futile.

I've tried the following to solve this:
- Sign in / out from the creative cloud on all devices.

- Re-install Adobe XD on all devices.

- Try to locate the font-type I've used at fonts.adobe.com and sometimes, they don't appear there on the website, however, they do appear inside Adobe XD on my Macbook or Windows PC (vice-versa) which I find very odd.

This issue also occurs for some of my projects when i try to view them on my smartphone (iPhone XS) while on mac and pc they show the fonts.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about the trouble and for the delay in response. Could you please confirm if you are still facing the issue on the latest version of XD? If yes, please share a few more details like:

Are the fonts working on any other Adobe application on your Windows machine?
Is this happening with a specific font?
Please try re-installing the font.
