Free XD Multiple use

I do not need to check with the administrator because, I am the Administrator.

Each PC uses a local admin account not a network shared one (it is not a domain account) so we could give each PC a different account, when it comes to installing Adobe XD it just so happens that three of them were setup using my Adobe account and two were using an Adobe account created by one of the other managers only because there were two us working at the time.

To add to the complexity we are not using an Enterprise licence we are introducing s a set of school kids to the world of wire frame and app design and considered the free release of Adobe XD as a perfect solution.

There is no real capital budget here the aim is to point formative minds to the possibilities of STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics).

I did go to the Adobe chat support and was repeatedly told that the trial of Creative Cloud was a 7 day licence, and without an active paid account I could not be supported.  Obviously following a help desk script (I have in the past manned a Help Desk) where if there was no active account the standard reply is the 7 day licence does not get support.

I just spent three weeks (real time probably 36 hours) understanding Adobe XD and I have come to the conclusion it is a fantastic tool for building a wire frame app and If I could afford it I would be one of those deep into Creative Cloud.  However this would not solve the multiple location scenario.  I am able to access in multiple location as it is installed on my laptop. 

I am also part of that generation that got a good chunk of their knowledge base burned when the plug was pulled on Flash My first encounter being a student copy of Dreamweaver and Flash when they were both part of a student release of Macromedia Studio 8, in reality I actually come from an earlier generation having started my computing in 1983 yes there are still some of us left. 

I have been co-opted into school support end of this project because I am seen as a key element of our knowledge base.

Note we are not trying to write commercial products we are only trying to introduce some children to the possibilities of STEM and give them some hands on experience with the tools that are going to be worth knowing about.

I do understand this may be some way of stopping some commercial enterprise using multiple accounts to get around not buying a licence.

Key to this is also an inbuilt lesson that the students would also become familiar with the concept of keeping their own project in the cloud and then accessing that project from multiple locations. 

As it stands it would appear that we probably need a personal PC for each child in every location, when what we are trying to do is more like a hot desk environment 

There is also a desire that the cloud version could be accessed by parents to demonstrate how we are progressing the learning outcomes.

If the students were older we would probably look towards a student licence for Creative Cloud but we are talking really young kids here but I am following that old Jesuit quote "Give me the child for the first seven years and I will give you the man." but in this case the children are not exclusively male.  The older ones may be ready for such a licence once they hit the next tier of education but not yet.
