Gradient Circular Progress Bar

Question

I want to make an animated circular progress bar with a gradient in adobe XD (in order to animate the progress bar it has to be in segmented strokes). I know there isn't an option to add gradients to strokes in XD, but any suggestions for workarounds using other Adobe programs would be much appreciated!

P.S. Adobe, please add gradient strokes to XD already!

Thank you for using Adobe XD. We're sorry that this feature is not available in XD as of now. But there's a workaround provided in this thread below:

Hi Shwetha,Thanks for responding! I am aware of the posted workaround and have used that in other instances. The issue I am having now is that I cannot animate the progress bar unless it is a stroke.
