Grandeint line is too far from the object.

When I import some vector file (which have gradient), it imports fine. But when I try to change gradient angle, it became too difficult because the line used for changing angle is too far from the object as I have shown in the screenshot. And when I try to change the angle it misbehave.

Please suggest how to fix this.
