[Help] Lost data on file even after saving it

I saved my work on 21st Aug. both on the cloud and locally. Now when I open the file, either way. I only get the version of 17th Aug. All the work of those 5 days is just...... lost. Can anyone help me in getting my work back? It was a lot!
Any help is sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance

Please try this

For Adobe XD, instead you can open a previous version directly within the app.

Go to the Creative Cloud website.
In the Cloud documents tab, select the document.
To view all versions of the document, click the Version icon on the right.
Select the version you want to revert to.

So, the thing is: the version history also has the version of 17th Aug and older. It does not show the version of 21st Aug. The only thing I can see is the prototype I made on the 21st. And that's all. I can't find the corresponding xd file anywhere.
Can I find any local cached file which has the edit history or something?
