How do I preview a typeface when working with text?

If I have a field of text selected, and I browse around the various typefaces, is there a way to have it change the type so I can see how it will look?

If this is not available in any capacity within xd, is there a picture displaying each font that xd uses that I can compare the different font choices available to me?

Or a similar program with the same selection that does have a preview option?
