How to copy tables from XD to InDesign?

Hello! I want to copy a large number of tables that have been built in XD into an InDesign document. "Simple" copy paste leads to the table background becoming black (in InDesign) - something does not work... who can help?? I really do want to avoid having to rebuild all tables in InDesign...
