Question

How to deal with psd mockups in XD library

Hello,

I'm working on a way to share assets with your cloud — maybe you have some good practices — I've used PSD as smart objects but XD can't scale them & render properly — so they look terribly pixelated & small even they are quite big.

Very thankful for tutorials and advice 🙂

    No there is no solution!
I cannot mark the correct one! And assets description doesn't solve my problem.

    Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in response. Are you still experiencing the issue in XD 35.1 version?

We will try our best to help.

    Thanks,

    Harshika

No I still don't know how to share psd mockups in shared library.

Or find an other way to use mockups so whole team can access it from cloud.
Pls let me know about workarounds too.

    Thank you

    Hi Anna,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please share a few more details like:

    1. The version of XD and OS.
    2. Please share a few screenshots of the assets of how they are in Photoshop and how they are in Adobe XD.
    3. Are the assets pixelated if imported directly in Adobe XD without using the CC Library?
    4. You can also refer to this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/xd/help/working-with-external-assets.ug.html#photoshop

    Regards

    1. macOS Catalina 10.15.7

    XD 34.1.12.9

    3. no

I've created a smart object in PSD and added it library

It's small when dragged out lib to XD and it's flat file when you access it 😞
