Question

How to export with pass through

There's an asset in an XD file I recently recived.  When i select it and export it, I get the original asset.  What I want is the asset withe the filters that are applied in XD.  This particular asset has passthrough set on it.  I've tried everything I can think of, but I keep getting the original asset without the applied styling.  What am I doing wrong here?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. There are some restrictions and unsupported features while exporting in XD. Please see this article:https://helpx.adobe.com/in/xd/kb/import-export-issues.html#supported-file-formats which might be the reason your issue.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

We are here to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Thanks for checking that article. Would you mind telling me what option you are choosing in Export For? Is it happening with this specific asset or any of the assets? What is the OS and XD version of your machine?

I just tried to export it for Design with the same pass-through blend modes and it showed up fine on my windows machine. Could you please share a short video of your workflow so that I can follow the same process?

I will try my best to investigate the issue.

Thanks,

Harshika
