I want to make transitions where things move in and out artboard limits but when I move 1px outside artboard limits, the element is put outside of it. Sometimes I am able to do this, but I don't know how, so I'm here to ask you:

how do I put an element inside an artboard, but outside its limits?

Hi Franco,

Thank you for reaching out. You may try any of the two ways that might help you-

  • Place the object inside of a group that contains at least one other layer that will remain on the artboard.
    Or
  • Within Prototype mode, the object can be moved off a wired-up artboard.

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

Are there any updates to these processes for this workaround? the protoype screen workaround isn't working for me(objects are still placed onto the pasteboard when dragged outside the artboard. The first workaround is ineffecient with .
