How to mask an overlay on prototype mode in XD?

Hello guys! I am trying to make that purple retangle to slide up over the black area only but i cant find a way to "mask" it so it dont come from far bottom, anyone can help? Thank you!

The purple element needs to be at a lower z-order than the other items. I made a demo of what I think you are trying to do. The static images show the layer order and the transition I used.
