How to share prototype link in Team structure with user groups.

Hi, we're evaluating moving from sketch/invision to XD wholesale but one issue keeps on coming up - the ability to create teams, and share links directly with them.

Our Invision instance has most of the company on it, with different teams being organised. When a designer wishes to share their design with a team, they simply tick a box, and a notification is sent out. The individual team members then receive an email, and can comment individually.

As fas as I can tell to achieve the same thing in XD I would need to individually email every single person. As you can probably imagine, copying and pasting 50+ emails every time you want feedback is a problem!

Have I missed something, or is it possible to set up viewing teams with Adobe and XD?

Thanks!!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. In XD there is an option to share the prototype with user groups. For more information, you can refer to this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/kb/group-sharing.html

Let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.

Hi Rishabh, thanks for your reply. If I read that document correctly there's a requirement for Microsoft Azure Active Directory as the identity provider. Unfortunately we aren't using that, and must therefore look elsewhere.

This feedback isn't directed at you, but rather Adobe as a company – intregrating with MS AD was probably an easy step as the integrations already existed within Adobe. However, if you truly want to compete with Sketch and Invision or Figma, you've got to step up your game here and support not only other security providers, but those of us who aren't using a security provider. You should be able to set up groups manually within the CC cloud without integrating with a security provider.

Sorry for the delay in response. I will share your feedback with the Engineering Team and you can do that too by posting a request here: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
